Feed twice a day, once at dawn and once at dusk. Provide motor run time of approximately 6 seconds. Delayed test push button.. BATTERY: BATTERY REPLACEMENT: To open timer case, hold top of container lid with one hand while turning the bottom of the container with the other hand. The direction for turning the bottom half is denoted on the label via an arrow. Remove each of the 9 Volt batteries from the appropriate battery clips. Replace batteries, being careful not to bend the battery clips. Place the batteries into the bottom of the container and tighten. Be sure that the batteries are not interfering with the view in the window. PROGRAMMING: The MINI-SLINGER “Walk Away” timer is designed to provide the user with the easiest to use daylight timer available. Therefore, there is no programming required. The unit has a fixed program to feed at dawn and at dusk, with the motor set to run for 6 seconds. Simply install the two 9 Volt batteries and “Walk Away”. The electronics will take over and cause a feeding at the pre-programmed times. When the batteries are installed/replaced, a learning period is not required before the timer starts to function.
MOTOR TEST: . Momentarily press the TEST push button located on the internal electronic board. The motor will run following a 10 second delay. Note: Please allow 5 minutes for the electronics to stabilize, after a change of batteries, before initializing the motor test.
