The button to the immediate right of the "test" button is the "run" button.
FEEDING:
The initial feed time is the first time during the day that the timer will
feed. This time is usually in the early morning, ie.6:00 AM, 6:15 AM, 7:40
AM, etc. To set the initial feed time simply hold the SET button down at the
desired time of day for the first feeding. The button must be held down until
the Red LED is lit (approzimately 10 seconds)
ADDITIONAL DAILY FEED TIMES:
The 2nd through 5th feedings, if switch selected, will automatically occur
1, 9, 10, & 11 hours following the initial feed time. The additional feed
times are activated by moving the associated DIP switches to the ON position.
BACK-UP OF INITIAL FEED TIME:
The back-up provision allows the timer to be set without physically being
at the timer, at the desired time.
Example:
You arrive at the timer location at 11:00 AM and desire to set the initial
feed time at 7:00 AM, a time difference of 4 hours. Simply hold the SET button
down until the Red LED is lit. Release the SET button. After Red LED goes
off, momentarily depress the Set button 4 times. Each time the button is depressed,
it will back up the initial feed time by one hour. The new times with all
four DIP switches in the ON position, will be 7:00 AM, 8:00 AM, 4:00 PM, 5:00
PM & 6:00 PM.
DURATION OF FEED TIME:
The feeding duration may be set between 1 and 30 seconds. The RUN push button
is used to control the feed time. Each time the RUN push button is momentarily
depressed, the motor will run an additional second. To reset the motor run
time, depress and hold the RUN push button until the Red LED comes on. This
will reset the Motor Run Time Memory to "1" second. After Red LED
goes off, momentarily press & release RUN button one (1) time for each
second added.
FEEDER SELF-TEST:
A delay Test button is provided to allow the timer motor to activate a timed
feed. Simply press and release the TEST button. Upon release of the TEST button,
a delay of 10 seconds is provided before motor activation. The motor will
run for the length of time previously programmed in to the Motor Run Time
Memory. This delay provides the user timer to move from the feeder before
feed is dispensed.
