DIP SWITCH PROGRAMMING:

MOTOR RUN TIME:

The motor run time is controlled by the first five switches of DIP switch number 1. Turning on each switch adds that time to the motor run time, i.e. turn on switches 1, 2 & 3 for a motor run time of 2+4+8=14 seconds.

MOTOR RUN TIME (#1 DIP switch)

Switch 1 on - 2 seconds
Switch 2 on - 4 seconds
Switch 3 on - 8 seconds
Switch 4 on - 16 seconds
Switch 5 on - 32 seconds
All switches off - 5 cycles - 3 sec. off/ 3 sec.on

MOTOR SPEED:.

The motor speed is controlled by switch positions 6-7-8 of DIP switch 1.

MOTOR SPEED TIME (#1 DIP switch)

Switch 6 on - #1 slow speed
Switch 7 on - #2 slow speed
Switch 8 on - #3 slow speed
All switches on - Slowest speed
All switches off - High speed

MOTOR ACTIVATION TEST:

1) Momentarily depress the TEST PB (Top Left Pushbutton switch).
2) A 10 second timer starts when push button is released.
3) At the end of 10 seconds, the motor will turn on and run at the speed and for the length of time established by switch positions 1 through 8 of DIP switch #1.
4) Motor turns off, test cycle is complete.

SETTING OF FIRST FEED TIME:

1) Hold down SET push button (Top Right Pushbutton switch) for 10 seconds at the actual time of day the first feeding is to occur.
2) Release SET push button. There will be a 30 sec. delay, followed by a short burst of the motor. If the short burst does not occur, reset initial feed time.
NOTE: The previous first feed time is cleared.

BACK UP OF FIRST FEED TIME:

Back up of the First Feed Time allows the timer to be set without physically being at the timer, at the desired feed time.
Example: You arrive at the timer location at 11:00 AM and desire to set the first feed time at 7:00 AM, a time difference of four hours. To back up the First Feed Time, momentarily depress the SET push button. Each time the push button is momentarily depressed the time will back up 1 hour.
NOTE: This action must occur immediately following (within 30 seconds) the release of the SET push button when setting the "First Feed Time".

ONE FEEDING PER DAY:

1) To set the unit to feed only one time per day simply follow procedure in "Setting of First Feed Time".
2) Be sure that all individual switches in DIP switch 2 and 3 are turned off.

ADDITIONAL FEED TIMES:
(FOLLOWING THE FIRST FEED TIME OF DAY)
An additional 16 feed times, in one hour steps is available and is controlled by DIP switches 2 and 3.
DIP switch 2: Controls feed time 1 through 8.
DIP switch 3: Controls feed time 9 through 16.
EXAMPLE 1: To activate a feeding one hour after the initial feed time, simply turn on switch position 1 on DIP switch 2.
EXAMPLE 2: To activate feedings one, nine and ten hours after the initial feed time, turn on switch 1 on DIP switch 2 and turn on switch 1 and 2 on DIP switch 3.

Switch 1 on - 1 hour
Switch 2 on - 2 hours
Switch 3 on - 3 hours
Switch 4 on - 4 hours
Switch 5 on - 5 hours
Switch 6 on - 6 hours
Switch 7 on - 7 hours
Switch 8 on - 8 hours

FEEDINGS AFTER 1st FEED TIME: (#3 DIP switch)
Switch 1 on - 9 hours
Switch 2 on - 10 hours
Switch 3 on - 11 hours
Switch 4 on - 12 hours
Switch 5 on - 13 hours
Switch 6 on - 14 hours
Switch 7 on - 15 hours
Switch 8 on - 16 hours
