| PROGRAMMING FOR DF-01B (2
pushbuttons) Back
#1 PUSH BUTTON (LOCATED ON LEFT SIDE OF MOTOR)
#2 PUSH BUTTON (LOCATED ON RIGHT SIDE OF MOTOR)
MOTOR SPEED: (Highest Speed)
1) Depress and hold #1 (left) push button (PB) until LED turns on.
2) Release PB. LED remains on.
3) Let the #1 PB remain idle for 10 seconds. The LED will turn off.
4) Motor is now preset to full speed.
MOTOR SPEED: (4 Selectable Slower Speeds)
1) Depress and hold #1PB until LED turns on.
2) Release #1 PB. LED remains on.
3) Prior to the LED turning off momentarily depress #1 PB. Each time PB
is depressed (up to 4 times) the motor will run one step slower.
4) Let the #1 PB remain idle for 10 seconds. The LED will turn off.
5) Motor is now preset to the selected motor speed.
MOTOR RUN TIME: (1 to 30 seconds in 1 second steps)
1) Depress #2 PB until LED turns on, approximately 10 seconds.
2) Release #2 PB. Motor run time now preset to 1 second.
3) Prior to the LED turning off momentarily depress #2 PB. Each time PB
is depressed (up to 29 times) the motor will run one second longer.
4) Let the #2 PB remain idle for 10 seconds. The LED will turn off.
5) Motor is now preset to the selected run time.
MOTOR ACTIVATION TEST:
1) Momentarily depress the #1 PB.
2) Following a 10 second delay the motor will run for the length of time
and speed previously programmed. The LED remains on during the
delay time and the motor run time.
FEED TIME PROGRAMMING:
1) Hold down the #1 & #2 PB at the time of day the first feeding is to
occur.
2) Hold both PBs down until the LED blinks twice and stays on.
3) Release both PBs. The LED remains on.
4) Depress and hold the #2 PB. The LED blinks twice and turns off.
5) Release the #2 PB. The LED turns back on.
If no additional times are programmed the LED will turn off in 30 seconds.
Additional feed times must be programmed prior to the LED turning off.
6) To program the 2nd feed time momentarily depress the #1 PB one time for
each hour, beyond the first feed time.
That is: The first feeding is at 7 AM and the second feeding is to be at
9 AM,
momentarily depress the #1 PB two times.
7) At the desired feeding time depress the #2 PB until the LED blinks
twice and turns off. Release the PB, note the LED turns back on. This will
store the second feeding time.
8) To program another feed time (3 thru 10) momentarily depress the #1PB
one time for each hour beyond the last set feed time.
That is: The next feeding is to be at 6 PM, depress the #1 PB 9 times.
9) At the desired feeding time depress the #2 PB until the LED blinks twice
and turns off. Release the PB, note the LED turns back on.
10) Continue until all desired feed times have been programmed. If less than
10 feed times simply let the LED turn off after 30 seconds.
11) The LED will automatically turn off after the 10th setting.
Note: All feed times must occur within a maximum of 15 hours after the
initial feed time.
ONE FEEDING PER DAY:
1) To set the unit to feed only one time per day simply complete steps
1, 2, 3, 4 & 5 in "FEED TIME PROGRAMMING above.
2) Following step 5, allow LED to time out and turn off (approximately 30
seconds).
TWO-TIME-A-DAY TIMER: (Default self-programming)
1) To activate the timer’s self-programming function hold down the #1
&
#2 PB at the actual time of day you desire the first feeding to occur.
2) Hold the PBs down until the LED blinks twice and stays on.
3) Release the #1 & #2 PB. The LED will turn off in 30 seconds.
4) After the LED turns off, momentarily depress the #2 PB. LED turns
back on for 2 seconds and then turns off.
At this time the timer will feed at the set time and 9 hours later.
The motor will run at high speed for 6 seconds.
BACK UP OF FIRST FEED TIME:
Back up of the first feed time allows the timer to be set without physically
being at the timer, at the desired feed time.
Example: You arrive at the timer location at 11:00 AM and desire to set the
first feed time at 7:00 AM, a time difference of four hours earlier.
1) To set the first feed time of the day hold down the #1 & #2 PB
at the time of day you arrive at the feed location.
2) Hold the PBs down until the LED blinks twice and stays on.
3) Release the #1 & #2 PB. The LED remains on.
4) Prior to the LED turning off, momentarily depress the #1 PB the number
of hours it is desired that the timer be backed up.
Note: The timer may be backed-up from 1 to 23 hours.
5) When the selected hours have been backed-up depress the #2 PB until the
LED blinks twice and turns off. When released the LED turns back on.
6) You may now program an additional 1 to 9 feeding times, if desired.
